gev. te Slikkerveer (Z.H.), gem. Ridderkerk; opgericht in 1897; nieuwe statuten in 1949; in 1962 gefuseerd met Heemaf (Hengelosche Electrische En Mechanische Apparaten Fabriek) onder de naam Holec N.V. Hierbij werden de aandelen overgeschreven op naam van Heemaf N.V.
Smit Slikkerveer heeft geschiedenis geschreven net de bouw van de eerste electrische centrale in Nederland.

English: H.J. Küchenmeister did many inventions and got many patents (300 in Europe and the USA) related to radio, grammophone and sound movie. They can be considered a classic example of the radio / sound / sound film high-tech boom and bubble of the period 1928-1930: their share more than doubled after the emission, but 4 years later they went into liquidation.

Eindhoven, 1972, Winstdelende personeels-obligatie van f 60, op naam gesteld, niet ontwaard; met facsimile handtekening van van Riemsdijk, die in 1971 Frits Philips opvolgde en tot 1977 het concern leidde; groene sierrand op groen veld, kleine afbeelding (3bij 3 cm) van de Philipstoren in Eindhoven. EF, uncancelled, 1 horizontale vouw, zeer zeldzaam in verzamelaarskringen omdat ze normaliter tegen het nominale bedrag worden ingleverd; Prijs € 95.
English: Employee bond of 60 Guilders from 1972, uncancelled; with facsimile signature of van Riemsdijk, president of the company from 1971 until 1977, after Frits Philips, who stepped down in 1971. Small vignette of the famous Philips tower in Eindhoven; very rare in collectors circles as these bonds are generally cashed at their nominal value. Price € 95.

Studebaker Worthington Corporation: it's history.
The last Studebaker was produced on March 17, 1966. The production of the last Studebaker did not mark a definite end of the company or its products. The Studebaker Corporation (the Packard name was officially dropped from the corporate title in 1962) had acquired numerous subsidiaries, such as STP, Gravely, Clarke and Onan, so although it did not build cars after March 1966, the company carried on. In mid 1967 Studebaker purchased the Wagner Electric Corporation and in November 1967 it combined with the Worthington Corporation to form the Studebaker Worthington Corporation. In the fall of 1979, the Studebaker Worthington Corporation was absorbed by the McGraw Edison Company. In April 1985, the McGraw Edison Company was acquired by Cooper Industries of Houston, Texas.
