De laatste eigenaar van deze bekende pianohandel in de Amsterdamse raadhuisstraat werd laaghartig vermoord (bron: Rietveld in beleggers Belangen 13-4-'98)

English: H.J. Küchenmeister did many inventions and got many patents (300 in Europe and the USA) related to radio, grammophone and sound movie. They can be considered a classic example of the radio / sound / sound film high-tech boom and bubble of the period 1928-1930: their share more than doubled after the emission, but 4 years later they went into liquidation.

Muziekvereniging "Euphonia", Ophermert (Gld.), opgericht 7-4-1954, originele handtekeningen, oranje belastingzegel, zwarte sierrand op geel patroon, klein formaat: 10,5 bij 15 cm, 45 Euro.

Renteloos voorschot groot Tien Gulden, no. 001; ondertekend door de directeur der Patronaats-Commissie G. Kuit en de voorzitter der Fanfare, dhr. E. v.d. Laan ; op de achterkant staat met pen geschreven de naam Nicolaas Bakker; afm. 13 bij 19 cm.; bruine tekst op licht groen patrron; conditie VF: 1 verticale vouw en een kleine hoekvouw; licht tropisch (kleine bruine plekjes); zonder jaartal, maar ik vermoed van voor 1940. Het Fanfare Gezelschap bestaat nog steeds. Prijs 250 € (zeldzaam !).

The company was established in 1862 and is the largest manufacturer of keyboard instruments in the USA.. Their premier product is the famous Baldwin Concert Grand Piano. They also produce a priced line of Grandfather Clocks. (Source: Malcolm Kurin, personal communication, sept'2002)
