The Netherlands
Arch. N.V., 's Gravenhage. Binnenhuisarchitect (vandaar de naam ARCH) en inrichter van winkels in ruime zin.Opgericht 27-10-1955; 1961: beursplaatsing 5% 15-jarige obligatie van 2 miljoen, waarvan 1,5 miljoen geplaats; 1963 beursplaatsing van 4 3/4% 15-jarige convo's, leening 1,2 miljoen. 1963: beursnotering 4.770 gewone en 30 bijzondere aandelen van f 500. Ook ken ik uit 1964 aandelen van f 100. Wellicht i.v.m. de op 29-7-'64 verhoging vanhet beursgenoteerde kapitaal tot f 3.585.000.1-4-1965 verviel de officiele beursnotering der aandelen. De obligaties bleven genoteerd tot 8-5-1970. Op de 5% obligaties volgde een liquidatie-uitkering van 15%. 8-11-'64 werd faillissement aangevraagd en op 28-12-'64 werd dit uitgesproken.
Bron: Van Oss effectenboek (1964) en Peter Baas, VVOF mededelingenblad maart 2001. Hij beschrijft de vele activiteiten van de firma en de oplichterspraktijken waaraan de firma zich heeft schuldig gemaakt. Bij aankoop van een stuk wordt een copie bijgevoegd.

gev. te Amsterdam; zeldzame SPECIMEN uit het archief van drukkery De Bussy Ellerman Harms te Amsterdam (er zijn hooguit 5 ex. van elk type voor verzamelaars beschikbaar gekomen); afm. 21 bij 30 cm en 12 bij 4 cm afbeelding van het kantoor van De Bary aan de Herengracht in Amsterdam, waar nu de Deutsche Bank zetelt.

Gemeente Haarlem (N.H.) / Municipal of Haarlem
3% lening 1947 groot f 2.100.000; Schuldbrief f 1000; Haarlem, maart 1949; bruine sierrand op groen veld; oranje bel. stempel; 9 bij 6 cm gravure van het stadhuis (engraving of the Town Hall); 3 bij 3 cm wapen met spreuk: "Vicit Vim Virtus"; druk Joh. Enschede en XZonen- Haarlem; ontwaarding door zeer fijne perforaties; 125 Euro.

Gemeente Hilversum (N.H.), obligaties;
Vignette van het beroemde stadhuis, in 1931 gebouwd en ontworpen door de beroemde architect W.M. Dudok (1884-1974), stadsbouwmeester van Hilversum. See picture. Andere gebouwen die door Dudok werden ontworpen zijn naast vele in Hilversum o.a. de "oude Bijenkorf" in Rotterdam, het Hoogoven hoofdkantoor in Velsen en het Pavillon Néerlandais in de Cité Universitaire te Parijs.
English: Vignette of the townhall designed by the famous Dutch architect W.M. Dudok (1884-1974) See picture. He was the city architect of Hilversum. This townhall is considered to be his magnum opus: he designed all aspects of the building, including the garden, furniture, carpeting, light works, clocks and even the major's chairman's hammer. gev. te Gouda; aandelen van f 10 (shares of f 10), rare SPECIMEN from the cleared archives of the famous Dutch printer De Bussy Ellerman Harms (in Amsterdam), measuring 21 by 30 cm; condition UNC (print fresh; with coupons attached), all issued in Gouda (famous for it's Gouda Cheese, Glass works and Candles), without specification of year; with small engraving of the famous Town Hall from ca. 1450, built by the famous architect Jan III Keldermans (see for more illustrations of this town hall: www.gouda-online.nl/informatieid-4.html)

Orientexport-Handels-Aktien-Gesellschaft, berlin, 1923, Aktie 10.000 Mark, green with dark green border and in under print a large picture of the Aya Sofia in Constantinopel (Turkey), small pink stamp "jetzt gueltig fuer 50 RM", UNC-EF, f 245 = 110 Euro.See picture of the Aya Sofia , the world famous early Byzantine basilique in Constantinopel, built under emperor Justinianus between 532-537, by Anthemius of Tralles and Isodorus of Milete. It is now a mosque. (Source ENSIE, X, p. 89).

Frankfurt, 1987; Sammel-Vorzugsaktie ohne Stimmrecht, über 10 Vorzugsaktien zu je 50 Mark (certificate for 10 shares of 50 Mark each); rose / brown, size 21 by 30 cm; 9,5 by 6,5 cm. engraving of the Frankfurt Villa of the Rothschild family; see picture, 2 facsimile signatures, but no Kontrollunterschrift and cancelled with the word "Ungültig", printed in red, so it may be an unissued certificate; prirnt: W. Oldenburg, München, price 45 Euro.

Greece
Banque d'Athènes (Trapeza Athenon), 6-6-1919, titre d'une action de 100 Drachmes (certificate of one share of 100 Drachmes), brown on light green field on beige; beautifully decorated piece, size 23 by 30 cm, with illustrations of god Hermes (Eng: Mercury) and 3 goddesses. Standing is Goddess Athena, the goddess of the city of Athens, dressed in armour and wearing a helmet. At her feet  a woman with on her lap a scale model of the world famous Parthenon, the temple on the Acropolis complex, dedicated to Athena. The Acropolis is also depicted. At the left a semi nude goddess holds a blindfold. In the top border is a small vignette of Athena in armour, holding a spear. Athena's owl, symbol of wisdom, is also depicted. A beauty to frame !, see picture, ; VF, no folds, blue tax stamp + red wet stamp over it., design: Henri Brauer, Imprimerie Richard, Paris, 250 Euro = f 550.

---------- Athens, 1925, titlos mias omologias Dr. 250, 7% (certificate of a 7% bond of 250 Drachmes), dark green; Beautiful pictures of 2 young girls: they are 2 of the 6 so called Karyatiden, standing as columns in the south hall of the Erechteion at the Acropolis in Athens. VF+, 95 Euro.
